It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Luciano on August 17th, 2024 at the age of 50, beloved son of Antonio and Giovanna Pelosi. He was survived by his dear wife Laurie, and children Kevin and Sarah. He will be sadly missed by his brother Vince (Betty), sister Lucia (Erminio) and fondly remembered by nephews Daniel (Natasha), David, niece Brianna and great nephew Victor.
Luciano was an intelligent, kind and quiet individual who loved his family. He studied at Ryerson University and was successful as a mechanical engineer. Luciano was a handyman, he helped out any way he could and also provided support through PMI Lakeshore Ontario Chapter. His dedication to others will be deeply missed by his family, friends and colleagues.
We will remember his quirky sense of humour, infectious laugh and dad jokes. Luciano had a passion for music and DJing, along with interests in golf and racquetball. He was a hard worker and proud of his accomplishments.
Sadly, Luciano suffered silently in his life and was reluctant to seek help. He was greatly loved by all that surrounded him and his memory will forever remain in our hearts.
As expressions of sympathy, the family asks for donations to CAMH research and education (Mental Health association).

We are so deeply saddened to hear of Luciano’s passing. Our heart goes out to Laurie, his children Kevin and Sarah and to his parents and families. May he rest in eternal peace.

Louie, we started school on the same day, walked back and forth to school every day, played on our street every day as kids. We had the best neighborhood group of kids. This is devastating for everyone, especially that you must have been in such emotional distress and that you thought this was the only option. I really hope that your wife gets your kids help and counseling to help with this.
