Mr. Leo Berniqué, of Rockland Ontario passed away on Sunday, December 31st 2023, at the age of 79 after a long battle with COPD.
Beloved husband of Diane Fournier, the son of the late Lawrence Berniqué and the late Léah St-Martin. Dear father of Donald (Kimberly Bourne), Carole (Edwin McNally), Claude (the late Suzanne Schryer), Denis, Gilles (Julie Payer).
Cherished grandfather of Brandon (Galuh Agasta), Shannon (Lyle Stamplecoskie), Mandy (Jonathan Chayer), Tanya (Frank Giardino), Sara (Austin Dollimont), Monica, Mathieu, Ava and Anika. Nicholas, Leila Schryer. Dear great-grandfather to: Keegan, Gunnar, Shylah, Matteo and Benjamin.
Brother of Robert (Madeleine Guindon), Raymond (Claire Boudrias). He will be fondly remembered by many in-laws, nephews, nieces, and friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. Josée Adam and the staff of Access Healthcare services for their good care and compassion.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Clarence Creek Arena 418 Lemay Street, Clarence Creek, Ontario on Sunday, January 28th 2024, from 12pm to 5pm.
The family welcomes donations to the Canadian Lung Association as an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers.
