It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of a caring and generous soul, Bernard (Bud) Curtis. He passed away peacefully at Cawthra Gardens Long Term Care Residence at the age of 86. He will be dearly missed by his wife of almost 62 years Joan Curtis (Murdoch), daughter, Kelly Curtis, sisters Lois Dewsbury (Dave) and Ruth Schrauwen (late John), his many nieces and nephews, the “old gang” and the new friends he met along the way. He was predeceased by and reunited with his son Bernie Curtis, father Harry Curtis, mother Margaret Curtis (Lynagh), sisters Bernice Manderson (Bill) and Helen McCann (Cal), brother Ken Curtis (Jeanette-living) and nephew Sean McCann.
Bud was always there to lend a helping hand, whether you needed a lift in his truck or a joke to lift your spirits; he was there. And now, in his absence, may we carry forward his presence by being there for each other.
Mass to help celebrate his life will be on July 20th, 2024 at St. Dunstan’s Church (Pharmacy and Danforth) at 10am.
