It is with sorrowful hearts and a profound sense of loss that we announce the peaceful passing of our Mother Annette Jane Inniss on April 5th, 2024, at Trillium Mississauga Hospital at the age of 84. She was born in Trinidad & Tobago, August 23rd, 1939 to parents Richard and Maud Lezama.
Beloved wife of 61 years to the late Noel Inniss whom recently passed away on Feb 22nd, 2024.
Loving Mother to Daughters Antoinette, Natalie and Lou-Ann (Paul). Proud Grandmother of Ashley, Alycia, Madysen, and a dear relative to her many siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Annette Immigrated to Canada in 1965 A recently graduated Nurse from Trinidad and Tobago and worked for over 30 years at the Toronto Western Hospital with their nursing staff. She also attended and graduated from Bruno’s Schools of Hair Design in 1979 and went on to open her own successful Hair Salon named “Annette’s Hair Salon” in Toronto, Ontario.
She was an amazing mother who was an excellent chef, talented baker and amazing hairdresser. Her hobbies included crocheting, visiting the horse’s and casino trips. She had a zest for life and loved dancing to Calypso and Soca music. Her great sense humour with the best stories of growing up in Trinidad and Tobago will be missed.
She loved spending time with family always wearing a smile on her face. All special occasions and holidays meant the world to her and brought her great joy. She was a loving and caring person devoted Mother, wife, grandmother and friend always thinking of others first. To know her was to love and be loved by her.
It’s hard to say goodbye to someone who had a big impact on our lives. But if we keep those good memories in our hearts and minds, we can find comfort, and Annette will always be with us.
