In Loving Memory of Shirley Ann Colliss (nee Balkwill)
Passed away peacefully at Haliburton Hospital on Sunday, January 7, 2024 with her loving daughter and granddaughter by her side, in her 87th year.
Beloved wife of the late Roy Colliss (2014) and the late Henry Martens (2022). Loving mother of Kim (Karen) Colliss, Mike Colliss, and Marie Collliss (Rod Titus). Loving grandmother of Lindsey, Kristen (Shane), Jamie (Kelsei), Jared (Jamie), and great grandmother of Kate, Huxley, Wren, Tyke, Emery, Kolby and one unborn great grandson. Predeceased by her brother Ken Balkwill, and by her sisters Autumn Watson and Sheila Clarke. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The Colliss family would like to thank Shirley’s Homecare “Angels”: Deniel, Linda, Betty, Cathy, Lori and Scott, and her Hospital “Angels”: Meghan, Glenda, Tracey, Brittlyn, Morgan, Peggy, Carol, for all their loving support and care.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Shirley’s Life will be held at the Minden Bible Church, 177 Bobcaygeon Rd., Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0 on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 12:30pm. Interment at the Minden Cemetery. A Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 636, 12847 Hwy 35, Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0.
