In Loving Memory of Cathie Byrnes (nee Williamson)
October 13th 1935 – August 27th 2024
It is with great sadness that the Family of Cathie announce her passing on August 27th, 2024 at Hyland Crest, Minden Ontario. She was 88 years old. She is finally at peace after a long struggle with many health issues.
She was predeceased by her husband and best friend Charlie in January 2015, they are finally reunited, her wish.
Survived by her devoted Daughter Charlotte and Son Glen and his Wife Nancy. Adored Gram of Sarah (Spencer) and Heather. Special GG to Chase and Holden. Her Brother John and His Family, whom she loved. Always in her heart, Daughter Gwen and Grandson Matthew. Loving Grama and missed by her darling Dolly.
Her and Charlie lived and raised their Family in the BEACH in Toronto. They loved their home and neighbours on Selwood Ave. She enjoyed spending time with her Family and Friends both in Toronto and her cottage on Big Bob Lake, Minden, ON. She had a heart of gold and was kind and loved. She will be greatly missed.
Cremation has taken place and she will be now be with her Mom, Dad and Missy at her little piece of Heaven at Big Bob Lake. Our heartfelt gratitude to the Haliburton Hospital and Hyland Crest for their exceptional care and love of our Mom. “TOGETHER FOREVER” Rick Astley
