CLARK, JAMES
We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of James ‘Jim’ Gordon on Thursday May 23, 2024 in his 79th year. Loving husband of Linda (McCharles). Cherished father of Kevin (Bev) and Chris (Shannon). Very proud grandpa of Ashlynn (Krys), Baylee, Tessa (Jordan), Tyler, Karson and step-grandpa to Desteny (Jake). Great-grandpa to Phynix and Ozzie. Brother of the late Bill (late Margaret), Betty (late Bob Somerville), George (Paula) and Evelyn (Denzil Killenbeck). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. Jim was a proud resident of Vernon for 50 years. A dedicated employee (retired) from the City of Ottawa, roads department and the former Osgoode Township. He was a member of the Osgoode Baptist, Vernon United Church and volunteered for “Meals on Wheels” in Winchester. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Daley Family Funeral Home, 6971 Bank St. from 1-2 pm on Thursday May 30. Funeral to follow in the Chapel at 2 pm. If desired, donations made to the Osgoode Baptist-Vernon United Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Condolences may be left at www.daleyffh.ca
