Rowe, Marilyn’ Ann’
Ann passed away unexpectedly at her home in Meaford on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at the age of 76.
Born in Meaford on December 9, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Martha (nee Engwer) Rowe of Meaford.
She is remembered by her daughters Susan and Shelley and their spouses.
Ann is survived by one granddaughter and one grandson, 6 great-grandchildren, and her sister Myrna Rowe.
She was predeceased by a granddaughter and her brother Jim Rowe.
Ann will be fondly remembered and missed dearly by her friend Gary Ward and his family.
In her younger years, Ann’s family owned and operated Capital Theatre and the video store where she was a familiar face. Ann also worked as a legal secretary. She enjoyed working in the garden and loved animals, she had a real soft spot for cats. Ann also loved her ‘bling’ and all things that sparkled! She was proud to be born and raised in Meaford, and loved to walk and drive around taking in the beauty of her hometown.
At Ann’s request, there will be no public visitation or service. A private interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery at a later date.
