Passed peacefully at The Carpenter Hospice on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Donald MacTaggart (d. 2004); loving mother of Paul (Patti) MacTaggart and Lisa (Don) Edwards; proud grandmother of Andrew (Sadie) and Connor (Brittany); and dear sister of the late Bill Allan, late Bruce Allan, late Joan Potvin, George Allan, Doug Allan and Bob Allan. Maureen loved dearly and will be missed by all her nieces, nephews and her many beloved friends.
The family would like to extend their special thanks to all the staff at the Joseph Brant Palliative Floor and the staff at Carpenter Hospice for all their care and support.
Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 6:00-9:00p.m., and Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 12:00-1:00pm before a Memorial Service at 1:00p.m.
