Beloved husband of Reverend Aleace Davidson (Cassalman).
Loving father of Laurena Brittain (James), Matthew McGregor (Carrie) and stepfather of Lane Davidson (Anna) and Candy Schwan (Tim).
Grandfather of Max, Bella, Sarah, Zoa, Frederick, Stephanie, Maggy, Caitlin, Peter, Zain, Laila and Yasmin. Great Grandfather of Ares, Noah, Evelyn, Parker and Heidi.
Brother to Gwendolyn Brittain.
Predeceased by parents Cecil Alvah Brittain & Elizabeth Arlene Brittain (Hamm).
Ron’s love of children led him to pursue a PhD in Education from the University of Toronto and for his love of God he completed a Master’s Degree of Divinity from Queen’s University.
Ron shared many memories of helping children during his many years of teaching children and being a principal. Ron was also involved in his church community and many social clubs including Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star.
Arrangements entrusted to Rushnell Funeral Home, Marmora (613-472-2531).
All are invited to a Graveside Service which will be held at Stouffville Cemetery (12118 Tenth Line, Stouffville) on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 11:30 am where he will rest with his parents at their family plot. Time to be announced.
