It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother Marion Morton on Sunday, September 22nd, 2024, in her 89th year. Daughter of John McCoy and Margaret Rombough.
Pre deceased by loving partner Douglas Morton.
She will be lovingly missed by her children Janice Storms (Edgar), Cheryl Walsh (Dan) and Jeff Morton (Cindy Potter)
Pre deceased by siblings Marge Bowen (Earl), Garland (surviving Lulubelle)
Survived by sister-in-law Donna Fargy and brother-in-law Bill Morton.
She will be missed by her 8 grandchildren and 7 great grand children.
Marion Grew up in Bonarlaw where she worked at the General Store for the Barlow’s for many years.
She married Doug Morton and settled in Stirling. They had a business for many years and raised 3 children. In later years, they moved back to the farm in Springbrook. Mom enjoyed and active lifestyle. She enjoyed doing crafts like sewing, baking and cooking. She also enjoyed get togethers with many family and friends and travelling.
One of her greatest pleasures was spending time with her grandchildren and attending many functions with them.
She will be missed by all who’s lives she touched.

Arrangements entrusted to RUSHNELL FUNERAL HOMES – MARMORA, (9 Bursthall St. 613-472-2531).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25th, 2024 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm and on Thursday, September 26th, 2024 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Thursday, September 26th, 2024 at 11:00 am. Interment at Mont Nebo Cemetery. Rev. Janice Chrysler officiating.
