Linda Rose Pacaud July 7, 1947 – September 24, 2024
It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Linda Pacaud on Tuesday September 24, 2024 at Campbellford Hospital.
Daughter of Hazel and late George Mitchell.
Linda will be misses deeply by her husband David of 59 years, Daughter Pam, granddaughter Kasandra, great granddaughter Evelyn (Beanie), Grandson Jacob, (Alicia).
Daughter Patricia, granddaughter Amanda, (Isaac), great granddaughter Mila, great grandson Ari
(Late) Son Darren, granddaughter Nicole, great granddaughter (late) Avery, grandson Grayson, granddaughter Maddison.
She will always be remembered and missed by her family and friends with a special place for Auntie Margaret, Auntie Di, and Auntie Marilyn as well as her long time friends Roxanne, Ellen and Janet
When Linda first moved to Marmora, it didn’t take long before people realized she made amazing birthday cakes. The word spread and she became the “cake lady” where she happily created specialty cakes on demand. When Linda recognized the need for food security, she and her friends created the Helping Hands Food Bank where she participated every week for three decades to help meet the needs of the community. Linda was a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mom, a friend, to many people and will be greatly missed by all.
Arrangements entrusted to Rushnell Funeral Home – Marmora (9 Bursthall Street, 613-472-2531).
Cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Visitation in honour of Linda will be held at Rushnell Funeral Home – Marmora, on October 19th, 2024, from 1pm-3pm.
