Today, we mourn the loss of our great friend, Donna June Galbraith.
Our bond was unbreakable, forged through much laughter, tears, and countless adventures together. Though Donna may be gone, her spirit and legacy will forever reside in my heart.
Donna was incredibly successful in everything she perused. From her early years in sports a high school track & field star, competing in the Commonwealth games, to her many incredible artistic talents with fashion at Simplicy Pattens to The Portables in trade show design. A pianist, amazing artist in painting landscape & abstract art.
As her friend, your first meeting with Donna would be memorable. Her curiosity, infectious laughter, quick wit and kind heart would make her an incredible presence in your life. She had a way of making people seen and heard. Her generosity and compassion knew no bounds.
Donna touched our lives and her passing leaves a hole in our lives, yet take comfort in knowing that her memory will live on through the countless stories, laughter and experiences we all shared.
As we say goodbye to this dear friend, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the time we had together. Donna, you may be gone, yet you will always live in our hearts. Your memory will continue to inspire, guide and remind us of the beauty and joy that life has to offer. Rest in peace, my dear friend. May your journey to the great beyond be filled with love, laughter and adventure.
And she loved Conch Salad.
A private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
