God called Lucia (Lucy) peacefully on November 21, 2023 at the age of 81. She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband, Pat. Cherished by her dear children, John, Benny (Scott), and Marisa. Proud Nonna to Ashley and Joseph. Lucia will always be remembered by her siblings, Tina (Danny), Mary (Late Ignazio), Peter (Janice), and Joe (Dorlene). She is now reunited with her siblings Ciro and Leo. She also will be missed by her gran-dog, Chloe. She will be held dear in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, relatives, and many friends. If so desired, donations in memory of Lucia may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Thursday, November 23, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 24, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church. (8500 Islington Ave., south of Langstaff Rd.). Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (on Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave.).
