God called James Vincent Pelrine, O.S.A. (Brother Blaise) peacefully on July 25, 2024 at the age of 85. He is now reunited in heaven with his parents Martin and Clara, his brothers and sisters Raymond, Margaret, Agnes, Clarence, Gerard, and Anthony. Brother Blaise will be remembered by his siblings Theresa, Cecilia, and Andre. Cherished by his dear nieces, Jackie and Tina. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, Augustinian Brothers and Sisters, relatives, and many friends. In memory of Brother Blaise, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Maple Chapel (211 McNaughton Road East 905-303-0770) on Tuesday, July 30th, 2024 from 4-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 31st, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Parish (14485 Jane Street, south of 16th Sideroad). Private cremation to follow.
