Julia Marion Liska, beloved wife of Dennis Liska, loving mother of Brian Liska and Karen Thompson, dear sister of brother Paul Kives and sister Margaret Banyai (both predeceased), aunt to Ron, Leslie, Barbara
(predeceased) and Diane and Godmother to Ron, passed on 29th September
2024 at University Hospital, London Ontario in her 94th year.
Julia was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church congregation, giving of herself to various activities and especially enjoyed singing
in the choir. Volunteering for charities, such as the Canadian Cancer
Society, was another passion of Julia’s.
Being an active women she especially enjoyed her daily walks and continued to be an active member of the women’s league at Sunningdale Country Club well into her 60’s.
Julia was also a very talented woman and loved creating unique and beautiful quilts.
She had a love for angels and created her own angel ornaments designed for her own angel Christmas tree as well for others.
Julia loved life and made the lives of everyone she touched better.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service, for friends and family to celebrate her wonderful life, will be held at 2 pm on Sunday October 6th at Trinity Lutheran Church, 746 Colborne Street, London, Ontario.
