February 16, 1941 – October 29, 2024
Liu, Fengying – Peacefully with daughters by her side on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Victoria Hospital in her 83rd year. Loving mother of daughter Fuhui (Sally) Jia (husband Jeffrey McNaughton and their son Ziyi (Sunny) Guo, wife Samantha Lee and great grandson Elliot Jeffrey Shi En Guo-Lee), daughter Tchen (Grace) Jia (son Boyu (Vincent) Wu and wife Yan Ning (Cindy) Wu), daughter Zhi Jun (husband Ming Chen and son Xiao Xuan (Shawn) Chen). Survived by husband Yufa Jia, who is still living in China.
She grew up in Tianjin, China where she worked in the banking sector. It was in Tianjin where she raised her family and where she still has many other relatives that survive her.
She came to London, Canada in October 2021, at first to visit and later, she lived with her daughter Sally and Jeff. She was a strong member of her Church at West Park Church where she grew many friendships and developed many strong memories that she lovingly enjoyed.
Her love to her family is what carried her along and she was very proud of all of her daughters and grandsons and dearly loved her granddaughters-in-law and her great grandson.
At her request she has been cremated and her memorial service will be conducted at West Park Church, 955 Gainsborough Rd. London on Saturday November 9, 2024 at 3:00pm.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of LaoLao can be made to West Park Church.
