Pat Scott passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024, age 99 years, 8 months, and 6 days. She was born in Elgin County, an only child to parents David Pelkey and Barbara (née Cox). Later, through a blended family, she was loved by stepfather Purcell Willson, brothers Ronald Cox, Bartley Willson, Hilliard Willson and their descendants.
With her first husband, Ronald Ryland, they had two children, Brenda and George (Dawn). Years later, she married Thomas Scott, who had a son, John (Cathy). These unions led to 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandsons. She loved each of them dearly.
Pat enjoyed many friendships and laughs at the Kiwanis Seniors’ Community Centre playing euchre, cribbage and bingo. At home, a jigsaw puzzle was always in progress or a book being read.
Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held, in future, at Shedden Cemetery, Shedden, Ontario.
She will be missed and memories cherished.
