BERE, Arthur – Peacefully with family by his side at Dearness Home on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, Arthur Charles Bere in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Carolyn Bere (2008). Loving father of Kimberly Bere (Matthew). Dear brother of the late Don Bere and Rosemary Bull. Also missed by his nieces and nephews and dear friends. Art will be remembered as the long-time owner and dedicated operator of Art’s Lawn Maintenance. Art was especially proud of the quality homes that he built with his brother Don. He and family enjoyed many vacations to Florida and the Caribbean, and together with Don was an avid deep sea fisher in the Bahamas. He also spent many years making maple syrup in the sugar bush. The funeral service will be conducted at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James at Richmond, on Wednesday, June 5 at 11 am, with visitation preceding from 10-11 am. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Humane Society would be appreciated.
