It is with heavy hearts we announce the loss of our dearest Lois who passed away at St. Peter’s Hospital, on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the age of 92. Reunited with her beloved husband, Douglas James Galloway, to whom she was lovingly married for 7 years before his passing in 2006. Cherished mother to Peggy (John) Johnson of Acton, the late Bryan (Wendy) Lane of Belleville and Joanne (Douglas) Myers of Burlington. Proud grandmother to Jennifer (Mike), Tricia, Amanda (Scott), Julie (Jake), Will (Aurora), Ryan (Adriana), Adam, Steven (Diana) and proud great-grandmother to Jack, Natalie, Frankie, Clementine and Olivia. Dearly missed by her sister Linda (Ian) Cameron of Chatham. Always remembered by her extended family and friends across Canada. Predeceased by her parent Herb and Anne Bryant (nee Peltier). Lois may be gone from this world; however, she lives on in the stories and memories she has left with all those she touched during her lifetime. As per Lois’ wishes, and those of her family, a private cremation will be taking place. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Peters Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333. Please go to www.smithsfh.com to sign the online book if condolences.
