James Leonard Bebonang, 57 years old, of M’Chigeeng, started his journey to the spirit world on Friday, February 24, 2024 at Health Sciences North in Sudbury with his family by his side.
Beloved son of the late Mary Ann and Joseph Beboning.
Survived by his wife Sara Jane.
Beloved father of Centaur (Daylin) of Sudbury
and Panni Wanni (Angel) of M’Chigeeng.
Loving Papa to Angelina, Dawson, Kendra, Arianna, Diamond, Kingston, Kash, DJ and Thorlen.
Dearest brother of Joey, Lewis and Walter of M’Chigeeng and Sally of Toronto.
Survived by Aunties Grace of Port Huron,
Shirley of Merritt, BC, Thelma of Toronto, Constance, Pearl and Brenda all of M’Chigeeng.
James will be missed by many nieces,
nephews cousins and friends.
James loved playing horseshoes, pokeno and volleyball. He was in carpentry and plumbing since he was in his early 20’s. He always liked going for walks around the community and to Paul’s Corner Store for his Kenos and tickets. He loved sitting there for hours scratching the hundreds of scratch tickets he would buy, stopping to sit at the Virgin Mary statue in front of the church with his granddaughter Angelina to have a bite of all the snacks he would buy for all his babies. James will be missed by all of his family and many friends.
