Freda (Brownrigg) Moss of Listowel passed away at Caressant Care, Listowel, on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, in her 87th year.
Wife of the late John Beltman.
Mother of Stephen & Lianne Moss of Elora, and Kevin & Barb Moss of Grand Valley, and mother-in-law of Elaine Stone of Orangeville. Grandmother of Montana and Aavril. Missed also by the family of Roy Wright.
Predeceased by her brothers and sisters in England.
Freda was born in Manchester, England, on December 19, 1937, and immigrated to Canada in 1965. She loved her gardens, birds, and flowers, and enjoyed watching figure skating. She cared about others and would knit clothes and blankets to donate to local hospitals. Most importantly, her grandchildren were very dear to her.
The Celebration of Freda’s life will be held at the Listowel Legion (565 Elizabeth St E, Listowel) on Sunday, October 20, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., with words of remembrance at 3:00 p.m.
Memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
