Sara King – After a courageous battle against cancer and surviving a stroke in 2021, Sara peacefully passed away at home on Monday, May 27th.
Sara was the loving wife of Stephen for 29 years. She will be forever missed by her children Jessica (Connor) Kennedy, Maddison King (James Burke), Tanner King, and Riley King. Beloved Nana of Ruby, Bennett, Norah, Henry, Willem, and Rory. Cherished daughter of Gary and Kathy Proctor, and sister of Brian (Leah) Stubbs. Predeceased by her twin sister, Becky. Sara loved her pets Marlo, Casey, and Petey. She enjoyed crafting, scrapbooking, decorating, and was passionate about her quilting.
A visitation will take place at Stoddart Funeral Home, 12 Mill Street, Lindsay on Wednesday, June 12th from 2:00pm – 6:00pm. If desired memorial donations may be made to Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital – Stroke Department. Donations may be made by cheque through Mackey Funeral Home or online with the link provided below.
