Josephine Aldrich entered into rest at home with family at her side, on Friday, April 5, 2024 at the age of 85. Josephine Courtenay was the loving mother of Janet Thompson (Rod), Julie Aldrich-Cunday (Scott), Jill Marinier, Bobbie-Jo Ball. Cherished grandmother of 9; Mitchell, Maggie, Lyndsay, Jodie, Eden, Jocelyn, Aaron, Kira and Naomi, also her great grandchildren Aubree, Henry, Bryer Hayze and Amari. Beloved sister of Shirley Witts and Christopher Courtenay (Jane). Funeral service will take place at Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Wednesday, April 10 at 1:30pm. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay. In lieu of flowers donations to U.N.I.C.E.F. may be made by cheque at the funeral home or online at www.unicef.ca/en. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Ecob, PSW’s, Emergency Response and the Palliative Team. Josephine lived her life for her family and her church St. Paul’s Anglican Church.
