Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto, after a short illness.
Son of the late Clarence and Ruth McPhail. Father of Melanie (Levi) and Keith. Grandfather of Laura (Ryan), Jill, Ben, Braelyn, Samuel, Dalton, Hannah, and Emma, and great-grandfather of Isla, Elowyn, Finley, Elias, Jack and Leila. Loving brother of Anne McPhail, Carol Faye Duggan (William), and James McPhail.
In keeping with John’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no service.
