ROBINSON, Carolyn Ann – Passed peacefully from this life into the loving arms of our Lord, at the Ross Memorial Hospital after a brief illness on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the age of 80. Carolyn created community wherever she lived, went, or worked. From management teams with Shell Oil and Staples, to working in the Bobcaygeon Tim Horton’s…it was people who were important, not positions. Born and raised in Back Bay, New Brunswick, she loved being near water, and formed lifelong friendships on the shores of Limerick Lake, Pigeon Lake, and Bobcaygeon. Carolyn loved her Trentside Baptist family in Bobcaygeon, as well as her extended Life Church family in Claremont…she actually loved anyone she met, because she loved Jesus, and it showed in everything she did!
Carolyn was the beloved wife of Robert John Robinson, they were in their 60th year of marriage. Loving Mom to Steven (Lori), and Stacy Wilson (Craig). Much Adored Nana to Jacob Wilson (Abby), Megan Murray (Jonathan), Alysa Knoetze (Morné), Julia Fors (Michael), Jesse Wilson (Emily), Alanna Robinson, Isaac Wilson (Michelle), and Troy Robinson. Treasured G. Nana to Charlotte, Tobias, Zoe, Aesop, and Tabitha. Predeceased by her parents Daniel and Bernice Robinson, and siblings; Daniel, Jane, and Mark. Carolyn will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Visitation will take place at Uxbridge Baptist Church, 231 Brock Street West, Uxbridge on Friday, June 28th from 11:30am. until 12:45pm. A Celebration of Carolyn’s Life service will follow at 1:00pm. A light reception to follow. If desired, a memorial donation may be made to Willow Springs Camp ( onehopecanada.givingfuel.com/willow-springs )which would be appreciated by the family.
