WINFIELD, William “Bill” Robert of Lindsay, Ontario – Passed away on July 8th in Orillia after an extended journey with Parkinson’s. Devoted husband of his best friend and sweetheart, Carmel (née Donnelly – McIsaac) (2019). Loving father of Brian (Allison Frost), Jennifer (Dana Lynch), Amanda (Mark Ilkov), and Christine (Scott Dinnage). Loving stepfather of Mary Cooke (Al) , Pat McIsaac, John McIsaac (Karen), Sharon Bialas (Art), Jim McIsaac (Mary), Dan McIsaac, Steve McIsaac, and Gary McIsaac (the late Donna – 2024). Proud grandpa and step-grandpa of Emma, Max, Cameron, Bradford, Evan, Laura, Amanda, Emma, Samantha, Katherine, Thomas, Rebecca, Rachel, Sarah, Charlotte, Nicole, Andrew, Jessica, Katie, Jack, Jenna, Matthew, Olivia, and Jessica as well as many great grandchildren. Brother of Chuck (Sheila Winterburn). Predeceased by brothers Russell (2013) (Dianne McNaughton), Edwin (2006), and sister Florence Bryans (1993) (Clarence – 2017). Uncle of David, Drew, Liisa, Joyce, Ron, Margaret, Melinda, Alyssa and Dustin as well as many great nieces and great nephews. In accordance with Bill’s final wishes and spiritual convictions there will be no formal funeral or service. Cremation has taken place and ashes will be scattered per Bill’s wishes. A celebration of Bill’s life will follow later this summer or early fall. Bill’s love of family, friends, music, nature, continuous learning and his gentle spirit touched so many lives and he will be dearly missed. If so desired, a donation in memory of Bill may be made to Parkinson Canada or charity of choice and would be appreciated by the family.
