It is with great sadness that the family of the late Anne Rotchford announce her passing at the Ross Memorial Hospital at the age of 87 years on April 23/24 with family and friends by her side. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her 3 sons: Martin (Lorraine) Rotchford of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Robert (Judy) Rotchford of Ontario, David (Tina) Rotchford of New Brunswick. 5 daughters: Delores Brennan of Kippens, Mary (Tim) Connolly, Rose (Tim) Collett, Philly (Craig) Rose and Valerie Rotchford (Jason) all in Ontario. Anne will also be missed by her grandchildren – Nicholas, Sabrina, Amanda, Holly, Samantha, Scott, Shane, Matthew, Kevin, Tyler, Tia, Hayley, Alexis, Kyle, Olvia, Cheyanne, Dakota, Shannon, RJ, Candance, and Andrew as well as 26 great grandchildren. Her brothers; Peter (Pat) of Ontario, James (Bernice) of Stephenville; her sister Florence of Louisiana, US.
Anne was predeceased by her husband John Francis Rotchford who was the love of her life, parents James & Mary Sheppard, 4 brothers – John, Dan, Jerry and Edward; 3 sisters – Marg, Vera and Philomena; her sons John and Edward, her granddaughter Melissa and her son in law Pat Brennan.
Along with close friends of family – Calvin Dennis of Nova Scotia, Genny Russell of St. John’s, Jody Woodcock of Keswick and Andy Hudson of Coboconk. Anne is also leaving a large circle of friends, nieces and nephews.
Cremation has already taken place in Ontario and her remains as per her wishes will be brought home to Newfoundland with church services and buried to be laid to rest with her husband John and son John and Edward Rotchford. Out of respect of the family please no flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer’s Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
