Janet Rae Wilding
December 29th, 1952 – December 1st, 2023
Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at age 70. Cherished mother to Amber (Andrew) Hagaman and Sarayn Wilding. Reunited with her late parents Burna (1996) and Mahlon (1990) Hillier as well as sister Lynne Knight (2020). Beloved sister to Craig Hillier. Loving aunt to Beth Knight, Danny Knight, Jami Knight, Ryan Knight, Meaghan Smith (Scott), Spencer and Maisie. Missed by cousin and dearest best friend Karen Dama. Thank you to Autumn Jones for the many long chats, they will be cherished forever. She will as well by missed by her nieces, nephew and extended family.
Janet worked at Franklin Gardens in Leamington for over 40 years. She enjoyed many summers at Lakewood Campground, as well as reading, thrifting, coffee or a good lunch with friends and family.
Thank you to her Franklin family for their many visits at hospice, as well as to the doctors, nurses at Hospice for their compassion and care throughout her time with them. Special thank you to Erica. We as well want to express our thanks to the team at Reid Funeral Home for their support during this time.
As per Janet’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will take place at a later date. In memory of Janet donations may be made to Erie Shores Hospice or the First Baptist Church. Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared at www.reidfuneralhome.ca.
