LACKEY, Francis (Frank) Emil
June 15, 1942 – December 30, 2024
Francis (Frank) Emil Lackey passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 30, 2024, at the age of 82. He is survived by his wife Beverley (nee Smith) and son Derek (Rachel) of Trenton, ON. Grandchildren Isaac, Kayla and Alexandra. Sisters Loretta Mills, Maryann Ottawa of Maniwaki, QC, Donna Takaki (Fred) of Kingsville and sister-in-law Lenore Hardy, brothers-in-law Ron Smith (Nancy) and Tom Smith (Phyliss) of Es. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Predeceased by his father William J. Lackey (1965) and his mother Elizabeth (nee Deschryver, 1998), stepfather William A. Hardy (1995) and brother William T. Hardy (2024).
The family wishes to thank Dr. Burgess and all the Parameds who provided support and care during Frank’s illness.
Arrangements entrusted to Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell St., Leamington (519-326-2631). Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a future date (to be announced). If you so choose, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
