KING, Christopher
with heavy hearts we announce that Chris passed peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Erie Shores Hospice at 78 years of age. He leaves behind his beloved wife Margaret (nee Unwin) and his children, Amie LaPietra and husband Vince, Michael King and wife Arlene and Jillian McDonald and husband Rob. He also adored his grandchildren, Avery and Logan King, Alessandro and Olivia LaPietra and Lauren, Carson and Paige McDonald. Predeceased by his parents, Ida and Albert King. Dearest brother of late Jean Mosey (Tom), late Rodger King (Carol). Dear brother-in-law of Ken Unwin (Mary). Chris will also be remembered and missed by his many nieces and nephews. After 37 years of service, Chris retired from skilled trades at Hiram Walkers. He was also a faithful member of Es Gospel Community Church for over 40 years and a long time blood donor to the Red Cross. In following Chris’ wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at Es Gospel Community Church, 335 Talbot Street South Es on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 11 am with visitation one hour prior. Livestream will be available online at www.reidfuneralhome.ca. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Parkinson Canada or Erie Shores Hospice would be appreciated.
