GELINAS, Brian Douglas
passed away peacefully with family by his side on Friday, October 6, 2023 at Erie Shores Hospice. Beloved husband of Holly (nee Ellwood) for 36 years. Loving Dad of Brandon William Gelinas, Dawn Lynn Gelinas (Jim Lucier) and Sandy Tomlin. Proud Pa of Samantha (Justin) and Great Grandpa of Myliee. Predeceased by his parents, Alvin and Helen (nee Renaud) Gelinas. Dearest brother of Tom (Doreen), late Dan (Beth), Ken (Patti), Mark (Donita), favourite sister Mary (A.J.) and Tim (Darla). Dear brother-in-law of Sharron (late Richard), late Heather, William (Diane) and Nancy (Bernie). He will also be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Brian retired from Chrysler after 34 years of service. In retirement, his passion was driving school bus for Switzer-Carty and he adored all children in his care. In following Brian’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visiting will take place at Reid Funeral Home, 87 Maidstone Ave., Es (519-776-4233) on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Starlit Celebration of Brian’s Life will be held immediately following at 13053 County Road 15, Es N8M 2X6. All are welcome. If desired memorial donations made to Erie Shores Hospice to thank them for their amazing care, would be appreciated.
