Beloved daughter of Randy and Suzanne. Dearest sister of Andrew and Alex. Treasured partner of Graham Ducharme. Aimée passed peacefully on October 18, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was very courageous in her life journey of 39 years.
Born on November 2, 1984, she grew up in LaSalle and loved summers at the cottage in Colchester. She played t-ball, swam, figure-skated, roller-bladed, and downhill skied. She was a Brownie and Girl Guide, determined to earn every badge. Also an avid reader from the beginning, she loved being a Lay Reader at her Church. Her Dad made her learn to drive a stick shift and Aimée loved driving her car, “the Pumpkin”. After graduating from St. Clair College, she followed her passion for helping people as a Personal Support Worker; most recently at St. Elizabeth Health Care and Care Partners. Aimée was a beautiful and gentle soul; always ready to lend a helping hand, especially to her much loved brothers, Andrew and Alex, the Up About Down group, and Christ Church Colchester.
If you so desire, donations to The Windsor Es Down Syndrome Association or Transition 2 Betterness would be appreciated by the family.
Visitation Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and on Friday, October 25, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. until time of a Funeral Service to celebrate Aimée’s life at 11:30 a.m. at Families First, South Windsor, 3260 Dougall Ave. (519-969-5841). A private family interment will take place.
