Obituary of Patrick “Edward” Lappan
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ed Lappan, beloved husband of Irene (Horton) Lappan, who departed this life on September 19th, 2024. Ed was a devoted father to Patrick (Casey) Lappan and Christopher Lappan, and a cherished grandfather to Lennox and Stella.
Ed will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends whose lives he touched with his warmth and generosity. He had an unwavering spirit and a love for family that defined his life. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Margaret (Flood) Lappan, siblings Bernard Lappan, Katherine Kelly and Mary Battams.
The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, 985 Kidd Rd. N., Lansdowne on Tuesday September 24, 2024 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, followed by a reception at the Lansdowne Community Building. In memory of Ed, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Barclay Funeral Home, 1033 Prince Street, Lansdowne.
