Entered into rest at Van Horn Retirement Home, Smiths Falls on Friday November 10, 2023. Mary Elaine (nee Whitmore) Cowle of Athens aged 93 years. Beloved wife of the Late Hubert Cowle. Proud sister-in-law of Audrey Whitmore of Athens, Proud Aunt to Karin Cotto (Mike), Elizabeth Whitmore (Greg Rehberg), Great Aunt to Nicholas (Jenn) and Parker Cotto, Great~Great Aunt to Savannah Cotto, Aunt to Susan Whitmore and Barb Raison. Mary is also remembered and survived by her Van Horne and Dialysis families. Predeceased by her parents Percy and Marguerite (nee Hull) Whitmore, brothers George and Walter, and a nephew Brent.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Christ Church Athens, 1 Elma St. on Monday November 13th, 2023 with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. until the time of Service at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Glen Elbe Cemetery.
