Obituary of Jim Lappan
Robert James Lappan (Jim) of Lansdowne passed peacefully at his residence at Fox Run By The River, on January 13, 2024. Jim is predeceased by his wife, Ann (McMullen) and survived by his sisters Kaye and Josephine. Jim is predeceased by his mother Christine, sisters Pauline and Doreen and brothers Thomas, Gordon, and John. Jim was blessed with many nieces and nephews from the Lappen and McMullen families and a wide circle of friends. Jim loved hockey, golf and baseball and coached the village youth. Jim’s family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Heather, Carl, Pattilynn, staff and many friends (new and old) of Fox Run By The River who made his stay feel like home.
Visitation is Saturday, January 20, from 11am to 1pm at Barclay Funeral Home, Lansdowne, ON, followed by a short service in the chapel. Burial to follow at Union Cemetery. Immediate family invited 10:30am to 11am for private gathering. In lieu of flowers, Jim would like donations to the Gananoque & District Humane Society.
