Joannie passed quietly at the Lancaster LTC, on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Joan M Gibson (née Glassey) of Lancaster; age 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Hugh Stewart Gibson. Loving Mother of Stewart, Ken, Lynne Brian, Sandy (late) and Diane. Cherished Grandmother to Amanda (late), Bailey, Reid, Shayne, Ashley, Cameron, Sandra-Lynne, Avery, Olivia, K.C. and Andrew. Proud great grandmother to Leo, Henry, Davis, Kai and Isaac. Predeceased by her parents and her siblings Sam, Scotty and Irene. Survived by her many nieces, nephews, in-laws and extended family. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St. Lancaster (613-347-3629) on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 1 – 3 pm. Cremation has taken place with burial in Salem United Church cemetery in the Spring 2024. Consider in memoriam donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in lieu of flowers.
