Winnie passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, June, 9,2024 at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband Gerhard and daughter Christine. Survived by her sons, Michael (Barbara) and Ralph, her daughters Doreen and Monica (Frank): her grandchildren, Christopher (Michelle), Kathleen (Kyle): her great-grandchildren, Audrey, Oliver, Autumn and Reilly (deceased Jade, Jordan, Tyana).
Winnie loved gardening and her family, making puzzles and crocheting. She will be sorely missed.
Services will be private as per Winnie’s wishes. Arrangements entrusted to Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation or Grand River Hospital Foundation-Freeport Hospital who took such good care of her.
