Payne, Wendy G. (nee Schweitzer)
Wendy passed away on September 21, 2024 in her home at the age of 77.
She is predeceased by her parents Eileen and Lorne Schweitzer, sister Paula Scheifele, brother-in-law Bruce Scheifele, and her friend Jan Fareed.
Wendy will be dearly missed by her long time friend and companion Joy Becker, and her nephews Steven, Scott, and Mark Scheifele as well as their families.
Wendy worked for the City of Kitchener for 15 years and at Budd’s retail store for 9 years.
According to Wendy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private interment will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo, ON.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the K-W Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
