Passed away on July 12, 2024 at home surrounded by his family at the age of 59.
Beloved husband of Diane Strauss for 29 years.
Loving father of Justin (Kyla) and Jaclyn (Justin A).
Dear son of Harry and Erika Strauss and son-in-law of Betty and the late Ron Ridgway.
Lovingly missed by his brother Perry (Maritess) and brother-in-law of Deb (Steve), Barb (Shawn) and David (Louise).
He is also missed by many nieces, nephews and long time friends.
Peter enjoyed attending rock and metal concerts and was a Boston Bruins fan. He worked at Manulife for 35 years.
Peter’s family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, July 15, 2024 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Reception to follow.
A special thank to the Doctors, Nurses and PSWs who cared for Peter during his illness.
