Mwila Kaite Mwansa, beloved daughter, sister, wife, and mother, was born on February 21st, 1982, to Elias and Evaness Mwila Mulenga. She was the youngest daughter among her seven siblings, growing up in a loving and close-knit family.
Mwila’s early education began at Sacred Heart Nursery School at the age of four. She continued her studies at Neem Tree Primary School for grades 1 to 3 and completed her primary education at Lukanda Primary School in Kapiri Mposhi. In pursuit of further education, she attended Kamwala Secondary School in Lusaka from 1997 to 2001, where she excelled academically and formed lasting friendships.
After completing her secondary education, Mwila pursued her passion for secretarial and computer studies at Lusaka Business and Technical College. She furthered her career at Sonergy Diagnostics and EQ bank in Canada, where her dedication and expertise were admired by colleagues.
In December 2011, Mwila married the love of her life, Chitiba Mwansa. In pursuit of a new chapter filled with love and family, Mwila relocated to Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, where she created a warm and loving home for her family. God blessed Chitiba and Mwila with two beautiful children, Moses and Joanna-Rose, who immerse their marriage in joy and satisfaction.
On Saturday, June 15th, 2024, Mwila passed away peacefully, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of kindness, strength, and love. She will be deeply missed by her husband, children, parents, siblings, extended family, and friends.
Mwila’s family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 – 9:45 AM on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener 519-749-8467.
The funeral service will take place at 10:00 AM on Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home followed by interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo at 11:30 AM
A reception will take place a Golf Steak House, 598 Lancaster St. W., Kitchener following the graveside service.
