McMahon, Maureen (Moe)
It’s with much sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Maureen. Passed away August 29th, 2024 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 74.
Maureen is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Michael McMahon. She was step mother to Michael four boys; Stephen, Dean, Jason (Leanna Dando) and Jamie McMahon. Grandmother to Madison Holdsforth (Cody Holdsforth), Charlotte and Thomas Dando.
Maureen Bridget Mary McMahon (Convery) was born in Hamilton Ontario August 3rd 1950. She is predeceased by her parents Patrick Convery and mother Marion Decker. Also her late brothers and sisters.
Maureen was chief estimator of Mike’s Painting and decorating. She thoroughly enjoyed her job, the contractors she met, the projects the company completed and the clientele they served.
She is survived by many sister and brother in laws, nieces and nephews. Many friends from near and far.
Thank you to all the friends (Dave and Noria Temple) and Michael’s family for their love and support through the years.
Maureen’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00pm-8:00pm on Friday, September 6th, 2024 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral mass will be held at St. John’s RC Church on Saturday, September 7th, 2024 at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Williamsburg Cemetery. All are welcome to join the family for a time of refreshment and fellowship at the church after the burial.
