Binnie, Lilias Wilson:
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at the age of 92.
Loving mother of Karen Teeter (Chris Davidson), Janice Witter and Greg Binnie (Carla Hess). Proud “Gamma” of Ashley, Spencer (Veronica), Blake (Katie), Myles (Amber), Stephanie, Nigel and great-grandmother of Mya, Emily, Aaden, Sophia, Sullivan and Axton. Daughter of the late Nan and Alexander MacFadyen. Dear sister of Sandra and the late Donald and Nan. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families.
Special thanks to the staff of St. Mary’s and Freeport Hospitals for their loving and compassionate care.
Lilias’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener (519) 749-8467. A graveside service will be held at Williamsburg Cemetery on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Grand River Hospital Foundation – Cancer Centre would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
