Passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Columbia Forest LTC in Waterloo, ON at the age of 92.
Husband of Katherine.
Loving father of Allen (Rosa).
Cherished grandfather of Alina Goodine Rondeau (Dany-Pierre) and Chris (McKenzie) and great-grandfather of James, Vivianna and a new great-granddaughter on the way.
Dear brother of Muriel Anderson of Campbellton, NB.
Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews, Roy (Alfra), Shirley, Daniel (Sylvie), Gerry (Carol), Allison (Bob) and the late Donald (Heather).
Predeceased by parents, Martin and Lila (nee Lapointe) and siblings, Lloyd and Clement.
Born and raised in New Brunswick, Ken was a hardworking, strong-minded man. He travelled to St. Catharines, Ontario and enjoyed a long career at Froster Wheeler Canada. Ken also joined the United Steel Workers of America for 15 years. Under Ken’s leadership as president of the local 6219 Union, Froster Wheeler underwent the first strike in 1965.
Ken was always a social person and an incredible bowler, earning many bowling awards over 30 years.

Ken’s family will receive relatives and friends from 12:30 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial service will take place at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel followed by a reception. Those unable to attend may join the service via live stream at www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming
