Smith, James Robert (Jamie):
Passed away peacefully on September 18, 2024, at the age of 53, after loosing his battle with throat cancer.
Jamie will be remembered by his son James Smith Jr. from Halifax, Nova Scotia; his mother Mary Smith (Melvin Benoit), his father David Smith; his sisters Lorrie Anne Smith (Steve Henry) and Tina Coldwell; his niece Destiny Smith and nephews Ryan Smith, Dakota Coldwell and a great newphew, Beaux Smith; and his many relatives and friends.
Jamie had a great love for music, he loved singing and playing guitar for friends, he was always the life of any party and a true friend to anyone who was in need.
Private cremation services have taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family.
