Cameron, Harry James
Born on July 5, 1937 in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Harry passed away on September 13, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener. He is reunited with the love of his life, Joyce (nee Winkler) who died in 2006. Loving father of Blaine (Prudence) of Elliot Lake, Michele (Ross) McClement of Kitchener and the late Stephen. Survived by daughter-in-law Paula. Loving Papa of Erin and Emily. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, the Winkler family and many friends. Predeceased by his parents Roy and Jean, all of his brothers and sisters and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Harry retired at the age of 57 from the Kitchener Fire Department. He was a member of Preston Scout House Drum and Bugle Corps and the Alumni Corps. After retirement, Harry enjoyed fishing and being with friends at Turkey Point Marina. We would like to thank Highland Place Retirement Home and St. Mary’s Hospital for their care and kindness of our father.
