STACK, Glenn
1949 – 2024
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Glenn Michael Stack, 74, in Kirkland Lake on Sept 28, 2024.
Glenn was born in Kirkland Lake to Agnes Simpson Stack and James (Jimmy) Martin Stack on December 22, 1949. Glenn was a lifetime resident of Kirkland Lake and a graduate of KLCVI. Glenn spent much of his working life in the food industry, eventually retiring from Independant Grocers.
Glenn loved listening to music and sharing his favourite albums with his friends and family. Uncle Glenn had an awesome sound system and introduced us to many of his favourite bands. Over the years, a major highlight in Glenn’s life were the Stack Family golf tournaments/reunions where many fond memories and stories emerged.
Glenn is survived by his loving sister Barbara Delean (Myles Clifford) and his loving brothers Donald Stack (Shirley; predeceased) and Brian Stack (Linda; predeceased). Glenn will also be missed by many neices and nephews.
Glenn is predeceased in death by his sisters Norma Rietveld (Leo), Jacqueline Trobridge, Patricia Charette (Gerry) and his brother Malcolm Stack.
Interment to be held at the Kirkland Lake Cemetery on October 9th at 1:00. Donations to a charity of your choice will be appreciated by the family.
