Ilse passed away peacefully on Friday, December 20, 2024 at AgeCare Royal Oak LTC, Kingsville at the age of 99 years. She was born in Germany to the late Friedrich and Koroline Schmidt.
Reunited with her husband, Gustav “Gus” Schaefer.
Dear mother of Bodo (Lucille McKim) Schaefer and Beatrix (Len) Griffin.
Sister of Manfred Schmidt of Germany; sister in law of Gretel and Hilde.
Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date in Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to Kendrick Funeral Home, Kingsville.
