Simon James Davis Obituary
On Saturday December 14, 2024, Simon James Davis died at the age of 72. His wife Caroline will never forget him, and he will also be remembered by close friends in Canada, England and South Africa.
Simon was born in St Helens in England and educated at Manchester Grammar School and the University of Wales (College of Swansea). After meeting in London and receiving their designations as Chartered Accountants, he and Caroline came together to Canada, and they enjoyed life in Ottawa for many years before moving to Kingston.
After a period of ill health, he had regained strength and he and Caroline had just returned from two wonderful weeks in London, and a weekend in Manhattan, visiting with friends and pursuing their passion for music.
He died quite suddenly and received wonderful and compassionate care at Kingston General Hospital over the last two days of his life.
Arrangements for a Celebration of Life will be announced later.
