With great sadness we announce the passing of Sandra Ellen Almquist on Sunday August 18, 2024. After a valiant effort against dementia and many health setbacks. Sandra passed away peacefully at Rideaucrest Long-Term Care Home with her loving and adoring husband by her side. Sandra was 85 and is survived by many who love her dearly. By her husband of 64 years, Eric. By her children Shelley (Ron), Greg (Maureen), Kirsten, Kurt (Filomena). By her grandchildren Christopher (Sarah), Sarah, Joel, Zachary (Sarah), Kinsey. By her great grandchild Norah. By her sisters Sylvia and Shelia, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Sandra’s family is her legacy.
The family will hold a private service. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington Counties.
